Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a finance team of three staff members.
- Oversee purchase ledger operations, including purchase orders, supplier invoices, and payment runs.
- Manage sales ledger activities, including invoicing, payments, credit control, and refunds.
- Prepare and deliver weekly revenue reports and manage month-end closing processes.
- Develop and monitor budgets for key costs and revenue, leading forecasting efforts.
- Supervise payroll management to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to the board.
- Oversee the use of Sage 50
Your Profile:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) required.
- Experience in a senior accounting or finance role preferred.
- Service industry experience is a plus
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, manage pressure, and meet deadlines.
In return:
You will be offered a salary of around £55,000 per annum, paid on a daily rate basis. The position includes 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with a hybrid setup. Our client is flexible and open to you working 3 or 4 days per week, which we can discuss further when you apply.
