Role: Part-time Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant
Location: East London - 2 days in office (4 days part-time / 32hr)
Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 (pro rata equivalent = £27-28k) + benefits
This is an exciting design and creative business based in east London. They are experts in retail marketing and brand experiences working with top clients globally. They are now looking to recruit a part-time Bookkeeper within their finance team to support day-to-day transactional finance duties.
This role will be 4 days part-time on a 32hr week with flexi-time.
Role
This position is a hands-on role supporting the management of general ledger and assisting the Finance Manager with month-end duties. The part-time Bookkeeper will take on a number of key responsibilities including:
- Maintaining accurate financial records and entering correct transactions into Sage.
- Managing and processing invoices, payments and receipts.
- Regularly reconcile bank accounts/statements ensuring accurate documentation.
- Monitor and record company expenses.
- Support preparation of financial records for internal/external audits.
- Accurately input financial data into Sage and maintain data.
Profile
The ideal profile for this part-time Bookkeeper position, should have the following skillsets/attributes:
- 2+ years of experience within a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant capacity.
- Experience working with Sage accounting software
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working part-time roles
Salary & Benefits
£32,000 to £38,000 (pro rata'd to £27/28k) + benefits including:
