About the Role

As a

Maintenance Engineer

, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of machinery and equipment within our facility. Your expertise in diagnosing and repairing faults will help

minimise downtime

and maintain high production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair faults in

mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Perform

routine maintenance

to prevent breakdowns

Work with

high and low voltage

electrical systems, control panels, and automation equipment

Maintain

boilers, utilities, and lighting systems

Keep

accurate records

of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory

Collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency and minimize downtime

What We're Looking For

Proven experience

as a Maintenance Engineer in a

manufacturing or food production

setting

Hands-on experience with

food processing machinery

(e.g., Grinders, VeMag, Check Weighers)

Strong knowledge of

hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Ability to work under pressure and manage time-sensitive repairs

Excellent

problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills

Desirable Qualifications

NVQ Level 3

(or equivalent) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

17th or 18th Edition Electrical qualification

(desirable)

Experience with

PLCs and automation systems

(preferred)

Working Environment

Industrial/factory setting with exposure to

machinery noise and production activities
