Associate Solicitor / Senior Associate Solicitor - Clinical Negligence

Posted by Leigh Day.

About Leigh Day
We are a top 100 law firm committed to claimant-only cases, ensuring that individuals have the same access to justice as the UK Government and large corporations. We are not afraid to take on difficult and challenging cases involving medical negligence, serious personal injuries, discrimination in the workplace, defective products, and human rights abuses in this country and overseas.

About the team
Our Clinical Negligence team represent clients who have experienced any instance of substandard medical treatment that causes injury or an existing condition to worsen. Our expert solicitors specialise in claims relating to orthopaedic negligence, brain injury, cerebral palsy and birth injuries. Examples of successful compensation awarded includes a seven-figure settlement for a claimant who sustained a below the knee amputation after orthopaedic negligence in A&E and the orthopaedic department and six figure settlements in claims brought by women who sustained life-changing injuries during deliveries of their babies by forceps.

About the role
We have an opportunity for an Associate Solicitor (1 - 4+ years PQE) to join the team and have responsibility for running own cases and assisting a Partner on Grade A cases (depending on experience), on behalf of our clients, to the highest standards.
