Job Title: Personal Development Coordinator
Location: Wath-upon-Dearne
Salary: £24,429 per annum FTE (£21,451 pro-rata)
Hours: 37 per week (Term Time)
Length of the contract: Permanent

Gi Group Recruitment are now seeking to appoint a Personal Development Coordinator to our client based in Wath-upon-Dearne. The Personal Development Coordinator will create and deliver an exciting programme of personal development events and activities. The purpose of this role is to promote, support and organise learner activities which will enhance the learning expaerience to help build skills for employability and improve their life chances.

Duties of the Personal Development Coordinator:

  • Create a programme of personal development activities, available to all learners
  • Organise, coordinate and deliver events to develop the essential life and personal skills of students.
  • Work with learners to understand key topics
  • Build effective partnerships with external organisations, who will provide guest speaker delivery
  • Lead on learner voice activity
  • Co-ordinate cross-college enrichment activities including health, wellbeing and learning opportunities

Role Criteria:

  • Experience of working in an educational environment
  • Experience of working within a support, counselling or mentor role
  • Experience of organising event across different sites
  • Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy (or equivalent)
  • Level 2 Guidance/Counselling qualification
  • Knowledge of Data Protection, Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding
