H9 Technical are currently supporting a European Subcontractor in a search for a Material Manager to join their site team on a large-scale project based in the southeast. This role will be on a contract basis to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Supervising Operations: Directing, planning, and coordinating all warehouse activities to ensure efficient operations and maximum utilization of space and resources.
- Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and implementing procedures for accurate inventory tracking and control.
- Order Processing: Managing the processing of incoming orders and ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment while adhering to site requirements and delivery schedules.
- Quality Control: Implementing quality control measures to ensure that all goods received and dispatched meet quality standards and specifications.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforcing safety standards and compliance with regulations regarding the handling, storage, and transportation of goods, including hazardous materials if applicable.
Requirements
- Previous Materials / Logistics management experience within Construction / Heavy Industrial.
- Good Team Management skills
- Good communication skills
