Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment during teachers' short-term absences. Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing the classroom and ensuring students stay focused on their tasks
- Maintaining discipline and implementing school policies
- Addressing students' inquiries and handling immediate issues
- Gaining valuable experience and building skills, ideal for those pursuing a teaching career
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Recent work in an educational setting
- Qualifications: Degree-level qualification
- Skills: Strong behaviour management, adaptability, and quick thinking
- Attributes: Confidence, passion for education, and flexibility
- Documentation: Comprehensive CV detailing the last 10 years of employment, explanations for any breaks
- Compliance: Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional references, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
- Legal: Right to work in the UK
- Commitment: Willingness to attend a face-to-face registration interview
