Role Overview:
As an Audit Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing audit engagements, leading a team of professionals, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services. They will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, provide strategic insights, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Set and achieve departmental targets, plan budgets, and allocate resources to align with strategic goals and enhance operational efficiency.
- Identify and develop value-added services that will enhance our clients' portfolios and support business growth.
- Network effectively to promote the department, drive new business opportunities through innovative product offerings, and manage outreach initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and support the audit team, ensuring career progression and professional development. Act as a role model and inspire a high-performance culture.
- Oversee client-facing and internal communications to ensure clarity, professionalism, and exceptional service delivery.
- Craft and present compelling tender proposals, engaging with prospective clients to secure new business and expand our client base.
- Manage department goals, continuously evaluate performance, and identify areas for improvement to drive excellence.
- Review and refine audit processes and systems to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and service quality.
Key Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified with extensive experience in audit and management within practice.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, with prior supervisory experience and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Strong technical knowledge in audit and accounting, with a track record of process improvement and system enhancement.
- Proven ability to identify and develop services that add value, with experience in strategic operations and business development.
