Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours a week

?? Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Buyer to lead their purchasing function. As a Buyer, you'll play a vital role in coordinating purchasing activities, managing supplier relations, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
?? Responsibilities:
- Take charge of the entire purchasing process, from request for quotations to order generation and stock control.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, production, and design teams to ensure smooth workflows.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to align with planning needs.
- Expand our supplier base to support company growth.
- Interpret technical engineering drawings and specifications.
- Support the sales and finance teams with cost analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and production managers to plan and coordinate requirements.
- Develop and implement best practises in buying, scheduling, and cost management.

- Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical engineering drawings.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
