Description
- Develop and maintain business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems and methods.
- Interpret data, analyse results and provide ongoing reports.
- Work directly with management to identify performance indicators for essential department functions.
- Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
- Support the analytics team with project management and coordination tasks.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organisation.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures.
Profile
A successful Business Intelligence Analyst should have:
- Strong knowledge of database design, data modelling and BI tools.
- Very strong SQL skills - able to write complex scripts, understand SSIS packages and problems that may arise - Able to log those requests and break-fix.
- Experience with data visualisation tools and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
