Supply Chain Process Analyst

Full time permanent role - Office based role with potential 1 day working from home. Well appointed offices in the centre of Uckfield. Plenty of free parking available on site and around a 15 minute walk from the railway station.

Salary £30000 per annum, depending on experience plus very good company benefits. 25 days holiday plus all UK bank holidays.

The role - Supply Chain Process Analyst

To manage the end-to-end supply chain on several product ranges through automated or manual replenishment; maximise service to customers whilst optimising cost. Provide detailed analytical support across the Supply Chain function

Duties will include:

Demand Planning - Responsible for executing the demand planning process.

Supply Planning - ensure inventory exceptions are reviewed routinely and appropriate action taken to minimize stock outs and obsolete stock.

Stock - Accountable for the monthly stock and pallet forecast, analysing inventory changes, and providing recommendations to achieve stock targets, reduce overstocks and improve inventory days.

Continuous improvement - This is a key component of the Supply Chain. The Supply Chain Analyst will lead at least one improvement project at any one time, as well as supporting the Supply chain manager on other projects throughout the year.

Master data Quality - Identifying and resolving gaps in manually input data within the ERP or forecasting system, run periodic audits between ERP and third-party warehouses for stock integrity.

Analytical Support - Accountable for monthly reporting; will provide detailed support across the Supply Chain and developing standard reports/dashboards for the Supply Chain

Experience, competencies and knowledge required:

  • Proven experience in demand planning and supply planning
  • A good understanding of associated Key Performance Indications e.g., stock, service, and inventory days.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work with complex data, perform root cause analysis and present data back to stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail/accuracy and ability to work to deadlines
  • Ideally educated to degree level (Maths, Business or Science) or equivalent
  • Experience of forecast and replenishment systems
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong collaborative team-working and interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across teams with Supply Chain and with suppliers.
