Import Delivery Job Summary:
We are seeking an organised and personable Import Delivery Coordinator to join our logistics team. In this customer service-heavy role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of booking and coordinating deliveries, ensuring that shipments are handled efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with both customers and suppliers, while balancing the need for professionalism with a personable approach.
Import Delivery Key Responsibilities:

Customer Quoting & Invoicing:

Provide accurate and timely quotes to customers based on shipment details.

Prepare and send invoices to customers, ensuring all charges are correctly applied.

Shipment Coordination:

Book deliveries of shipments using our service with our pool of selected hauliers and suppliers.

Arrange loads on our own fleet of vehicles, optimising for efficiency and customer requirements.

Supplier & Haulier Management:

Liaise with our network of hauliers and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery operations.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms when necessary.

Customer Service:

Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding their shipments.

Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
