Accounts Assistant
Temporary role: 12 weeks, with a possible extension
Office based: Wellingborough.
Pay £13.30 per hour.
Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday
We are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a friendly, mid- sized business based in Wellingborough. You must have Accounts Assistant experience and have ideally used Sage. This role would suit a proactive candidate who has great attention to detail to support the broader finance functions.
You will be required to start on the 1st July.

The role
- Supplier Invoices and queries
- Work with the purchasing department and Credit Control
- Allocation of cash
- Match credit and debit notes.
- Process purchase invoices.
- Assist the credit controller in reconciling aged debtor reports and chasing debt.
- General admin
- Month end reporting and reconciliations
Experience required.
- Ideally you will have used Sage previously.
- Must have experience having worked in a finance department previously
- Must have great attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Must be able to prioritise own workload and problem solve independently.
- Must be flexible to help other areas of the finance team in busy periods.
- Strong Excel skills required.
- Must have good admin skills and be a strong communicator.
