Surveyor/Contracts Manager - Roofing Contractor

Our client, one of the largest roofing contractors in the UK specialising in roof tiling, slating, and leadwork. Due to growth of the company, they are looking to bring a Surveyor/Contracts Manager to join the team, specifically in the Contracting section.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting site surveys, setting out construction plans, preparing and negotiating contracts, and managing project budgets all whilst ensuring compliance and resolving any disputes to ensure successful project completion.

Surveyor/Contracts Manager - Roofing Contractor

Responsibilities:

  • Gather data for construction planning.
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
  • Measure land and structures.
  • Create maps and detailed reports.
  • Establish reference points for construction.
  • Ensure accurate structure placement.
  • Analyse survey data for planning and design.
  • Resolve disputes with precise measurements and legal documentation.
  • Conduct impact assessments and ensure on-site safety compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts.
  • Plan timelines and coordinate project progress.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance; maintain records.
