Teaching Assistant | Coventry, CV8 | £85 - £100 per day | September 2024 start
LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our well respected partner primary school in Coventry. This fulfilling role provides an opportunity to make a significant difference in the educational journey of children. The school is looking for the right candidate to join them on a long-term to permanent basis.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the teaching and learning of children in a hardworking Year 2 classroom.
- Supporting children with SEN in the classroom.
- Running intervention sessions for children and phonics support.
- Guaranteeing that each child has the greatest opportunity to achieve their full potential in a supportive and secure setting.
Personal Specifications:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualified and/or a minimum of 12 months' experience in an educational establishment.
- Experience supporting children with SEN.
- Experience working with students individually and in small groups, as well as leading intervention sessions to support their education.
- Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
