Technical Support Assistant
St. Albans, Hertfordshire
£29,500 + Pension + Parking
This role requires the expertise and skill of an experienced Customer Support Assistant who is able to deliver support to on-site and to remote users on both hardware and software applications.
Some of your duties will include:
- Handling technical support issues remotely and occasionally on-site for hundreds of users across the UK
- Dealing with requests on hardware, software, laptops, tablets and Window telephone devices
- Establishing exact nature of users requirement and logging details on computer system
- Resolving issues by looking for solutions and replicating customers problems in house where possible
- Co-ordinating 2nd and 3rd line support for users when required and allocating jobs to nominated Contractors
- Occasionally travelling to other offices in the UK to provide support when required
