Red Recruitment is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor/Driver in South London to join our client, a family-run business that offers a wide range of services regarding furniture handling and removals in the London, Surrey, and Kent areas.
This role will require you to work in the warehouse 1/2 days per week and 3 days delivery driving.
The salary for this position is £30,000 per annum and is a Monday - Friday position only.
Package for a Warehouse Supervisor/Driver:
- Salary: £30,000 per annum
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Location: South London/Surrey
Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Supervisor/Driver:
- Working in the warehouse 1/2 days a week, driving and delivering the items 3 days a week (in the South London/ Surrey area)
- Providing removal porter/driver services to customers and clients
- Packing and unpacking customer goods when required
- Being able to safely load/unload the vehicle and safely move the client's belongings
- Ensuring container movements are tracked accurately and the crew get clear instructions at all times
- Delivering a practical, helpful and friendly service to both colleagues and customers
Key Skills and Experience of a Warehouse Supervisor/Driver:
- You should have a trackable employment history covering 3 years minimum
- Reach forklift license is essential
- A minimum of 3 years driving experience and no more than 6 points on your license is preferred
- You should have a flexible approach to working patterns
- Removal delivery experience is preferred
