OFFICE & SALES SUPPORT
Reporting to the Office Manager.
Our client is a market leader in construction equipment supply, they are lookingfor a new team member to join theirfast paced andgrowing business. The role is a busy and varied position and the successful candidate will need to be able to support with pace the sales and office support teams.
This is a temp to potential permanent position with an initial temp hourly rate of £12.74phand for the successful candidate the permanent position will offer the chance for furthercareer progression, training and development,company medical insurance and a bonus scheme is available.
Due to the location of their offices a driving licenceisessential for this role.
This role isvaried and reactive,this would include but not limited to the following;
Monitoring of the busy teamin boxes and responding to customers and suppliers accordingly.
Creation of Sales orders to our customers and subsequent purchase orders.
Communication of the above and booking of transport.
Collation of proof of deliveries from various transport companies.
Monitoring of incoming invoices and adding them onto the accounts system.
Managing the stock for the group, liaising with management to ensure correct levels and re-order where necessary, checking with the yard on product levels whererequired.
Month end stock reports for management reporting.
Month end commission reports for Sales team to be included for payroll.
Credit control for the group.
Monitoring of new account application forms, requesting credit limits.
Previousadministration experienceis essential: ideally someone who has had experience within an accounts or sales office, fully conversant with all MS office packages, in particular excel and CRM experience; ability to work accurately with good attention to detail, being a self-motivated individual and working on your own initiative, whist being proactive and ability to problem solve.
Good communicationskills, both verbal and written and must be a team player.
Full training will be provided, however if you have experience on the Kerridge K8 orInspHiresystem this would be advantageous but is by no means essential.
