Are you an ECT primary teacher who wants to network your skills in the local area of Wigan, Ormskirk, and Chorley?
Hays Education are looking for ECTs to work in schools across West Lancashire and the surrounding areas. Hays education offers a high-quality supply teaching service, helping schools with day-to-day cover as well as more long-term vacancies.
As an ECT/NQT, we can offer both short and long-term teaching work which can help you build your teaching portfolio and promote you in the local area to gain vital ECT mentorship and experience within education.
Your new role

As an ECT/NQT working on a supply basis, you will have the duty of a full-class teacher. In any short-term roles, the planning will be provided for you and, with longer-term and permanent positions, you will be required to plan and deliver lessons as well as complete assessments. You will be working alongside supportive staff to plan exciting and motivating lessons so that children's learning is engaging, interactive and challenging.
Working on a supply basis will see you working with several primary schools across various areas within Wigan and Chorley. You will be required to bring a fresh outlook and ideas to the school and deliver pre-planned lessons to provide students with the opportunity to grow and develop in their school lives.
We are looking for NQT's that vary from EYFS to KS2 and can offer a fresh yet confident approach to teaching.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in securing this position, hold qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK. You should be enthusiastic, approachable and be able to hit the ground running. Good knowledge of EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum.
