Site Manager - South East London - Modular School Project - Enhanced DBS
A main contractor is currently seeking to recruit a Site Manager for a new build modular school project in South London. The project will be starting groundworks shortly and consists of 8 new build modular units.
The successful site manager will be required to oversee sites as a stand alone manager organising relevant trade subcontractors and liaising with the client.
Please note that an enhanced DBS will be required for this role as it's within a 'live school environment'.
Main duties will include:
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project
- Undertaking daily inductions
- Maintaining a site diary
- Undertaking certain environmental monitoring requirements (specific training will be provided)
- Undertaking weekly checks and completing a task list as outlined by the Project Manager
- Checking setting out instruments weekly/monthly
- Resolve setting out queries and raise necessary RFI's in relation to these.
- General responsibility for site safety
- Management of section 278 works
