Our client are family owned independent business, they are recruiting for a Sheet Metal Worker/ Fabricator to join their busy and growing business.
Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator Roles and Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble and sheet metal components
- Work from engineering drawings to complete customer builds, working with dimensional tools such as rules, calculators, set squares etc.
- Set and operate hydraulic press brake
- Fasten and join seams in sheet metal with solder, welds, inserts etc.
- Use hand and power tools to trim, buff, smooth, file and grind metal surfaces and joints of parts that have been assembled
- Select the appropriate type and gauge of sheet metal to be used in projects
The ideal Sheet Metal Worker/ Fabricator will:
- Have proven experience in the assembly of sheet metal components and fabrications
- Be able to read and work from customer drawings
- Have experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Be able to lift heavy materials and tools
- A good level of literacy and numeracy
Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 16:30 (40 Hours)
