An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mathematical Modeller to join a well-established organisation's central Analytics & Modelling Hub in Birmingham. This pivotal role involves collaborating with various business units, leveraging advanced modelling techniques to influence key decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Model Development: Build, enhance, and critique a range of models—operational, behavioural, and commercial.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, gathering requirements and challenging outputs to ensure robust, high-quality analysis.
- Problem Solving: Apply mathematical and statistical methods to solve complex business challenges and improve decision-making.
Key Requirements:
- Exceptional Academic Background: A degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a complex modelling role, with demonstrated success across various industry sectors.
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to gather requirements, critique, and challenge modelling outputs.
- Technical Expertise: A deep understanding of model-building methodologies and approaches.
- Hybrid Working: Based in Birmingham, with 1-2 days in the office per week.

Salary:
£45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
