Part-Time Legal Assistant
Location: Guildford (Free Parking)
Rate: £14-15 per hour
Hours: 21 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
Are you an experienced Legal Administrator with expertise in probate law? Are you confident, enthusiastic, and seeking your next role?
We have an exciting opportunitty to join a well-established family law firm in Guildford. This is an exciting new role and we are seeking someone with a solid background in probate law and a passion for providing exceptional administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completing HM Revenue & Customs forms.
- Drafting Probate applications.
- Making applications for Grants of Probate.
- Drafting letter to clients.
- Dealing with Land Registry services, OCE, Leases, Priority searches, Bankruptcy searches.
- Managing time Recording.
- Responding to the enquiries via emails/ calls.
- Assisting fee earners with probate queries.
Skills & Experience:
- Audio Typing
- Proven administration experience in probate or property law.
- Familiarity with legal systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time and workload effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Friendly, professional attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
