Key Responsibilities as Tehcnical Architect:
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Enterprise Architect to define and implement technical strategies and roadmaps that align with our business goals.
- Solution Design: Design and develop robust technical solutions, ensuring they adhere to architectural standards and best practices.
- System Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of existing systems, identify areas for improvement, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance performance, reliability, and security.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with development, operations, and business stakeholders to drive successful project delivery.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience: Proven track record as a Technical Architect or similar role, with experience delivering complex projects.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in designing and implementing enterprise-level applications and systems, with deep knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and industry best practices.
- Technological Proficiency: Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, with a solid understanding of cloud-based web and digital technologies such as JavaScript frameworks, containerisation, and application gateways.
- CI/CD Experience: Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical challenges.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
- Commercial Acumen: Ability to engage in commercial negotiations with potential suppliers.
This is an initial 2-year fixed-term contract role offering a salary of £45.5k-£52k plus benefits. The role can be London-Hybrid or remote.
