The Ashdown Group have been engaged by a global organisation, to assist them in their search for a Junior release manager, who will be responsible for supporting the business across UK and International business units.
This is offered on a fully remote (UK based) working and with a flexible hours working pattern.
This position sits within the Technical development division and the department is responsible for managing and improving operational processes from source data through to output, as well as producing quality internal analytics.
In this Junior release manager post, you will support the Release manager managing and coordinating all programmatic changes and release to all the internal platforms (From UAT, Staging and Live), integrating and coordinating the work of all stakeholders and participants involved in any change or release and related scheduling.
You will ensure the quality of supplier release management documentation and delivery of services, You will work with Release, Product, Project and Development managers to determine the contents and timings of each release.
You will create and chair some CAB meetings as well as oversee the scope for the delivery.
Ideally you have gained some experience in Release Management and are now looking for a dynamic and multifaceted role. Or maybe from a Software deployment background with some experience with change management and looking to develop into release management?
The key skills and experience needed include being highly organised with good time management skills, able to handle multiple projects in an enterprise environment, planning and organising the release management activities in alignment with the platform timeline and ensuring deadlines are met.
You must be comfortable managing internal and external stakeholder relationships and would have previously worked closely with both third-party suppliers and development, infrastructure, DBA and operations teams.
Your verbal and written communication skills must be of the highest standard to allow you to define and communicate the releases and produce release documentation and identify dependencies.
The salary on offer is £35 - £40,000 depending on experience, flexible hours and remote working. Generous benefits include 25 days + bank holidays and up to an additional 5 bonus holiday days
