Your new company
This fashion company based in Manchester are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This company has experienced strong growth within the marketplace as well as acquiring new businesses.
Your new role
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Manage the month-end process to deliver timely and accurate information.
- Balance Sheet reconciliation and journals
- Assist with Accruals, Prepayments and Maintain Fixed Asset Register
- Quarterly VAT returns
- To assist in other ad hoc tasks and provide cover to other finance members when required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have good all round accounts experience to ensure you can adapt to the different tasks that are assigned. You must have a can-do attitude to ensure the finance function operates at maximum efficiency. Additionally, if you have SAP or stock / fashion industry experience, then this will be highly advantageous to your application.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary paying up to £32k as well as having 25 days' holiday. The role will be fully office based and for the correct candidate they will consider study support. There is free onsite parking.
