Salary: £25,000 - £37,440 per annum
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a HGV Fitter / Technician on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities for the HGV Trailer Technician:
- Working in a purpose-built service bay.
- Servicing and repair of equipment to MOT standard complying with local and national requirements by testing according to standards, making corrections and adjustments.
- Ensure workshop tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner to the required standard.
- Maintaining a good level of housekeeping
Skills and Qualifications for the HGV Trailer Technician:
- Experience required in trailer servicing / MOT preparation, brake reline, EBS/ABS diagnostics, electrical fault finding along with all other maintenance requirements to keep trailers safe on the road, including PDI.
- Able to work independently and as part of team.
- Able to accurately identify faults and repair them accordingly.
- Be a highly motivated individual.
