Position: Secondary Teacher (Core Subjects)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Secondary Teacher to join TimePlan Education and teach core subjects (English, Mathematics, and Science). The ideal candidate will be adaptable, resilient, and have a strong desire to work in an alternative provision setting, where they can make a significant impact on students' educational journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in core subjects tailored to the needs of each student.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the holistic development of each student.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised education plans and behaviour support plans.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching secondary school students, ideally within an alternative provision or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum for core subjects (English, Mathematics, and Science).
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- A compassionate and patient approach, with a commitment to supporting students with diverse needs.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
