Looking to recruit a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work with ASD & ADHD students - Want to make a positive impact to SEN childrens lives?

Working with the SENCo of a 'Good' primary school in the Romford area to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant. Are you experienced and knowledgeable to support Autism/ADHD traits & triggers and make education a positive environment for SEN children?

Monday to Friday - Term time only 8.30am - 3.30pm - To start as soon as possible

For this SEN Teaching Assistant :

  • Experience and knowledge of working with autism and/or ADHD in a school or care based setting.
  • To understand triggers and make a positive learning environment.
  • To be calm, patient and have a caring approach to working with children that have SEN.
  • Understanding of a work-station to develop students learning
  • Building the social/ emotional skills of the child whilst promoting trust and confidence.
  • To have good communication and organisational skills, patient with a positive attitude.
  • To be professional at all times keeping to school policies and procedures

Qualification

Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant / SEND or Care qualification

All successful applicants will have access to training courses and on going support.
