Description

  • Manage a small AR team, encouraging a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Provide frequent training sessions and guidance to support team members
  • Oversee AR duties, including closing the ledger at month-end
  • Prepare weekly aged debt reports & distribute them to management
  • Provide analysis on outstanding receivables to support decision-making
  • Oversee the AR team with their cash receipts postings
  • Be the main point of contact for all receivables or credit control queries and resolve issues
  • Submit forecasts of cash receipts to Treasury department
  • Provide regular updates on expected cash inflows in line with cash flow planning

Profile

A successful AR Manager should have:

  • Experience managing a small team (2+ people)
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an AR or wider finance role
  • Experience of working within the Energy sector is preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel e.g. vlookups and pivot tables
  • Strong attention-to-detail and ability to analyse large datasets
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
