Description
- Manage a small AR team, encouraging a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Provide frequent training sessions and guidance to support team members
- Oversee AR duties, including closing the ledger at month-end
- Prepare weekly aged debt reports & distribute them to management
- Provide analysis on outstanding receivables to support decision-making
- Oversee the AR team with their cash receipts postings
- Be the main point of contact for all receivables or credit control queries and resolve issues
- Submit forecasts of cash receipts to Treasury department
- Provide regular updates on expected cash inflows in line with cash flow planning
Profile
A successful AR Manager should have:
- Experience managing a small team (2+ people)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an AR or wider finance role
- Experience of working within the Energy sector is preferred
- Proficiency in Excel e.g. vlookups and pivot tables
- Strong attention-to-detail and ability to analyse large datasets
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred
- Strong communication and organisation skills
