Overview
A leading fund services company responsible for managing over $100bn in assets are recruiting for a Fund Accountant to join their team based in Central London. If you are a qualified accountant looking to move out of practice into Real Estate or Private Equity and manage a team this could be a great next move.
Responsibilities
Managing a team and a portfolio of clients you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and managing bookkeeping for a range of funds, SPV's, and structured companies
- Preparation of management accounts, NAVs, quarterly investor reports, and partnership capital accounts
- Production of financial statements (IFRS and UK GAAP)
- Cashflow forecasting, statements, and monitoring
- Responding to investor queries and reporting requests
- Liaison with external stakeholders such as auditors and legal teams
- Coach, mentor, and develop your team
- Establish and develop client relationships including onboarding to the business
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
- Technical accounting skills including consolidations, VAT, acquisitions, and disposals
- Experience in supervising and developing a team
- Strong client relationship and management experience
- Able to interpret financial information and present to a variety of audiences
- Problem solving and communication skills
