Job Summary:
As a Lettings Negotiator, you will play a crucial role in the lettings process, from generating leads and conducting property viewings to negotiating lease terms and closing deals. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a smooth and efficient lettings experience for both landlords and tenants, while achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with landlords and tenants, providing exceptional customer service throughout the lettings process.
- Viewings: Arrange and conduct property viewings with potential tenants, showcasing properties effectively to secure tenancy agreements.
- Negotiations: Negotiate lease terms and rental prices between landlords and tenants to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Paperwork: Handle all necessary paperwork, including tenancy agreements, references, and compliance documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with local market trends and property values to provide informed advice to clients.
- Sales Targets: Work towards and exceed individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the lettings process, maintaining a positive and proactive approach.
- Networking: Actively network to generate new business opportunities and expand the client base.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Previous experience in a lettings negotiator or similar role within the real estate industry is preferred.
- Sales Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Customer Service: A commitment to providing high-quality customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor.
