We are seeking Management Accountant to lead the preparation and consolidation of forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans, as well as the analysis of the company's actual results. The role involves ensuring that internal and external reporting is accurate and insightful, driving optimal cost structures to enhance profitability, and providing financial reports that support managerial decision-making.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Produce financial statements including P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, and variance analysis.
  • Manage the production of Management and Statutory accounts.
  • Update consolidation packages for the Monthly accounts.
  • Conduct Financial reporting including general ledger master data, statutory reporting, IFRS reporting, and ensuring compliance with J-SOX.
  • File year-end accounts and Corporation Tax returns, ensuring HMRC compliance.
  • Support the month-end close process, including prepayments, accruals, and detailed reconciliations.
  • Monitor income and expenditure, ensuring alignment with budgets and strong financial control.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline procedures.
  • Manage inventory and fixed assets.
  • Develop and improve Finance systems and processes.
  • Serve as the contact person for controlling-related queries.
  • Assist with the preparation of budget & forecast schedules and conduct variance analysis.
  • Prepare strategic analyses and reports for regional headquarters.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Part Qualified/Qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent, or QBE with experience in group structure reporting.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
  • Proficient in management accounting tools (budgeting, business planning, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis).
  • Experience with controlling systems such as ERP, SAP, Navision.
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting and tax regulations, IFRS, and J-SOX.
