The school are looking for a Reception Class Teacher who is confident, energetic and committed to providing the highest standards of education.
The school is a small, one form entry, 'Outstanding' primary school that has a wonderful community feel to it. The senior leadership team focus on providing a creative, supportive and personalised environment that caters to the needs of all pupils. Staff and pupils, share the same ambitions as the senior leadership team and drive to improve the education standards, striving for the highest possible standards.
As a Reception Class Teacher you will be expected to:
- Take on full classroom responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessments
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the EYFS national curriculum
- Maintain consistent relationships with parents surrounding their academic progression
- Attend meetings and INSET days to further support the internal development of the school
The ideal candidate for the Reception Class Teacher role will have:
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculum
- Recent teaching experience within EYFS
- A strong work ethic who is willing to commit until the end of the academic year
- UK recognized Teaching Qualification with QTS
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
