The Role:
We are looking for dedicated and flexible SEN Teaching Assistants to join our supply team. You will provide vital in-class support to pupils with a range of additional needs, working closely with teachers and SENCOs to help deliver tailored learning experiences and promote independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SEN in classroom and small group settings
- Implement personalised learning and behaviour plans
- Assist with social, emotional, and physical development
- Help prepare and adapt learning materials
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
Who We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- Understanding of a range of SEN needs (e.g., autism, ADHD, learning difficulties)
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work across different schools and year groups
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one before starting
