Project Officer

Summary

We're looking for a Project Officer to join our Marketing Delivery team on a fixed-term basis until October 31st, 2025. This team is at the heart of our Communications & Marketing Directorate, helping to bring our campaigns to life in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you'll support both Central & Regional teams with artwork requests, marketing templates, and Workfront queries. You'll also provide training on Workfront and help enhance the system to meet our evolving needs, ensuring we continue to make a positive impact.

What it's like to work here

We're bigger than you think, we're more complicated than we appear and we're larger scale than you'd imagine. We've got passionate people in all our teams, and we've got so much more we want to achieve. We're for everyone, for ever, and we really mean that. We don't want to stop at 5.5 million members, and we want everyone to feel welcome and enjoy access to our places, by reaching new audiences in ways that are meaningful and relevant to them without losing the support of those already with us.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there'll be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there's flexibility on where you're based at other times. You'll be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.

What you'll be doing

The C&M Directorate rely on Adobe Workfront for workflow management, resource planning, and approvals - an essential tool in our work. In this role, you'll have the chance to develop a deep understanding of Workfront, enabling you to deliver initial training, provide support, and assist with system administration and user queries.

Working within the Marketing Team, you'll be key to supporting artwork requests, testing and launching templates in the Brand Centre, and generating campaign template reports that inform our evaluations.

You'll collaborate closely with our Project Manager, managing ad-hoc requests from our regional teams, overseeing template management, and delivering Workfront training and support. Your work will help ensure we continue to support and guide teams.

Who we're looking for

You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached. You don't need to have all of the knowledge, skills and experience listed in the role profile; this is just to provide a full picture of what is possible in this role.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience of software tools that support project & workflow management (e.g. Workfront)
  • Proven experience on managing projects and a high volume of requests
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritisation.
  • Service focused attitude
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.

The package

The National Trust has the motto ‘For everyone, for ever' at its heart. We're working hard to create an inclusive culture, where everyone feels they belong. It's important that our people reflect and represent the diversity of the communities and audiences we serve. We welcome and value difference, so when we say we're for everyone, we want everyone to be welcome in our teams too.
