Role: Painter and Decorator
Location: HMP Eastwood Park
Standard Rate: £12.80 per hour + 33 days holiday pay
Duration: Temporary to permanent role
Typical hours: Monday to Friday: 08:00-17:00
As a Painter and Decorator, you will work in a prison service, for our client who is responsible for the maintenance of the buildings.
Duties of a Painter and Decorator Include (but not limited to)
- Reactive Repairs - Internal & External Painting
- Supervising visitors on site (mainly subcontractors).
- Work as part of a multi-skilled team providing an efficient estates service. ??
- Work with fine tools and equipment in difficult areas.
- Work safely with equipment and work at heights.
The successful Painter and Decorator will have the following:
- City & Guilds/NVQ in painting (Desirable not essential)
- Painting and decorating background (Preferably facilities maintenance based)
Due to the nature of the environment, you will be asked to complete the standard Security Vetting for the establishments.
