Milk Education are working with a SEN school in Bromley who are seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant to work in a KS1 and KS2 class. This Learning Support Assistant role is to support both students and the class teacher with the day to day running of the classroom. You must be confident to support the KS1 and KS2 children working on a one to one basis and in a group capacity as and when required to do so.
The hours of work are 08:30am- 15:45pm and the hours will be Monday to Friday with a 30 minute lunch break. This role is to start as soon as possible and will be a long-term role with the possibility of this continuing into the new year. The school have asked for the same person for this role to ensure they have continuity for the children in the class.
This Learning Support Assistant role will involve supporting the class teacher with anything they need support with including keeping all children on task and ensuring that the work they doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensure the classroom is kept clean and tidy each day.

Your role & responsibilities:
- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
- Delivering catch-up sessions
- Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
- Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate
Non-negotiables:
- Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting
- Good understanding of SEN
- Available full time
- Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher as well as under own initiative
