Economic Research Specialist

In this role be conducting research on the economics of transition that will influence policy advice, working on projects that address economic challenges and contribute to sustainable development. Engaging with a dynamic team of experts, you'll be delivering impactful analysis that drives innovative solutions.

In the role you will:

  • Analyse and advise on risk across trade, and investment
  • Develop and utilise models for assessing economic impacts of intersecting threats such as climate change and conflict
  • Engage in foresight and scenario planning to construct alternative forecasts for planning
  • Model the economic impacts of the low-carbon transition and assess impact investment strategies
  • Engage with external stakeholders to develop and expand projects and report on progress

We're looking for:

  • A passion for and track record in economics of transition
  • Skills in constructing alternative economic forecasts and scenarios
  • Expertise in modelling and assessment economic impacts of interrelating threats such as climate change and geopolitical instability
