Accounts Assistant - £13 - £15 per hour - Reading/Newbury - Hybrid - 4 month contract
I am currently recruiting for a leading business who require an Accounts Assistant on a 4 month contract. This is a varied role working for a brilliant line manager.
Key duties:
- Performing Sales Ledger tasks including invoice processing for private hire and contracts, payments allocation and end of period sales reconciliations.
- Performing Purchase Ledger tasks including invoice processing, statement reconciliations, Supplier BACS Payments, Petty Cash, and end of period purchase reconciliations.
- Producing the N&D four weekly payroll for approximately 50 employees at Newbury & District and supporting the Reading payroll team as required.
- Producing journals and balance sheet reconciliations for N&D and TVBand supporting the periodic production of the company's management accounts.
- Provision of reports to third parties as requested.
- Preparation of information and answering questions for the Year End accounting Audit.
- Production of customer and revenue statistics
- Any other financial tasks as required.
What you will need to be successful:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Team player
