About Us:
Our Client is dedicated to providing top-notch support for individuals with mental health needs and challenging behaviours. We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated support workers to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our service users.

Role Overview:
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one support to service users ranging in age from 8 to 88 years old. Your duties will include supporting individuals on hospital wards, in the community, and during transport. This role involves working with emergency admissions and requires flexibility to work 12-hour day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate and effective support to service users with mental health needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Work on a one-to-one basis with service users in various settings including hospital wards, the community, and during transport.
  • Handle emergency admissions with professionalism and care.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of each shift and any incidents that occur.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Must be willing to attend Training, with initial training and inductions in Chesterfield.
  • Commitment to unpaid training for the first 4 hours, with full payment for all subsequent training and shifts.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, both days and nights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for supporting individuals with mental health needs and challenging behaviours.
