In this role, the successful Nuclear Marine Engineering Instructor will be providing Astute Class Training Service to students within the ME & NSRP while also assisting in other areas of training within the Astute Class Submarines.
The ideal Nuclear Marine Engineering Instructor would ideally be a level CAT A/B officer of the watch, or of a similar level. Have a background in electronics and/or mechanical engineering and be passionate about training and developing other people.
For those who want to relocate, this role comes with a £8,000 relocation benefit.
The Role:
- Providing Astute Class Training Service to students within ME & NSRP.
- Assistance with generic Astute Class Familiarisation and Submarine Qualification training SMQ.
- Other training as needed: confined space, working at heights, ACTS.
- Assist in the review of training materials.
The Person:
- Ex-Royal Navy or similar.
- Category A or B watch keeper or of a similar level.
- Electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Wants to live in Glasgow.
