Description
- Processing invoices and reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders.
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger.
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries.
- Process business expense returns.
- Cashbook and petty cash cheques.
- Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques.
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
- A proven track record in a similar purchase ledger role.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office including Excel.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- An AAT qualification or similar would be advantageous.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
Job Offer
- An hourly rate of around £12.60 to £15.40, depending on experience.
