Science Teacher

REED is collaborating with secondary schools across Hertfordshire to recruit passionate Science Teachers for long-term positions commencing in September. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced educators and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) eager to make a meaningful contribution to students' learning experiences.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a conducive learning environment.
- Develop educational materials that cater to varying student abilities and promote active learning.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support their academic growth.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and coordinate Science lessons.
- Participate actively in school meetings and contribute to school events as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or NQT (Newly Qualified Teacher) status.
- A minimum of three terms of experience within a UK secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching Science.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the National Curriculum for Science.
- Two robust references from previous educational roles.
