Operations and Logistics Executive
Location: Bramley, Surrey with possible regional travel
Contract: Full-time Employment
Salary: £30k-£35k p.a. (subject to experience)
Our client is looking for a candidate with excellent organisational and communication skills to join their dynamic Operations team in Bramley, Surrey. Our client is a biomass energy supply company with over 17 years of experience delivering long-term renewable heating solutions to their customers.
This role reports to the Operations Director. The successful applicant will be involved in the day-to-day coordination and delivery of the company's bulk pellet and chip supply contracts and engineering services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day organisation of bulk fuels supply, loading and delivery
- Organisation and coordination of the delivery drivers and sub-contractors
- Coordination of engineering services
- Stock organisation and reporting
- Liaising with bulk fuel suppliers
- Communication with clients and coordination of deliveries
- Pellet vehicle management, maintenance and safety
Key Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Customer service experience
- Experience in generating sales quotes and managing profit margins in a commercial environment
- Ability to communicate with customers and suppliers in a professional manner
- Good time management
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- A strong team player
- An interest in sustainability
