Ward: Community Podiatry
Location: opportunities across Buckinghamshire
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 6 month placement
Working Pattern: 37.5 Monday-Friday (part- time available also)
Shift Pattern: 8:30-16:30
Role Details:

Provide podiatric treatment for patients who meet the criteria for NHS treatment.

Care provided in a variety of settings - Health Centres, GP surgeries, home visits, hospital out-patient clinics and inpatients.

To assess, diagnose, develop and implement individual care programmes for high-risk patient groups with specialised care needs - chronic diseases, tissue viability and wound care management.

Responsible and be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of clinical work for patients, delegating as necessary and referring onward only in urgent or exceptional cases.

To deliver evidence-based podiatry interventions that will contribute to the maintenance of patient mobility and independence.

Member of the Podiatry team working without supervision, in lone working situations

Adhere to Departmental, Trust and HCPC policies, strategies, objectives and CARE values.
