Senior Procurement Manager IT - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

About the role

We have an exciting

12-month fixed term contract opportunity f

or an IT Procurement Professional to help us deliver some major changes across the business.

We're continuing to build our digital capability, with this being a key role in the management and execution of IT, as well as change-related procurement for our Chief Information Data Office team (CIDO).

The IT Procurement Manager will be responsible for strategic procurement and sourcing projects across managed services, software, hardware, telecoms and professional services. The mandate is to drive value through a best-in-class approach.

The person in post will also support, develop and lead CIDO procurement strategy, in tandem with senior stakeholders across the business.

About you

With extensive experience in IT and business change procurement, you'll have led major sourcing projects, from strategic planning to RFX creation and execution and negotiating the deal and finalising the contract. Experience of working with major technology vendors and markets is a must, as are negotiating and influencing skills and understanding of commercial models.

Excellent stakeholder management and resilience to the demands of a busy and changing environment, are important attributes.#

Ideally, you'll be MCIPS qualified or aspire to be. Experience of working in IT, business change or professional services procurement in a financial services or similar regulated environment would also be beneficial.
