Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative with a Forklift Licence and excellent attention to detail? Our client is looking for someone like you to join their team! As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations, working under the guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to efficiently pick and pack orders
- Prepare and complete orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Receive and process stock products using the WMS
- Maintain good in/goods out procedures
- Assist with stock replenishment
- Book in deliveries and communicate any issues or discrepancies to management
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to Health and Safety Standards
Requirements:
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Forklift Licence (Bendi/Pivot Steer preferred, but at least Reach and Counterbalance)
- Professional appearance and good verbal communication skills
- Dependable and reliable, with a diligent attention to detail
- Excellent numerical skills and computer literacy
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with both management and co-workers
- Proactive mindset and ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Previous experience with a Warehouse Management System and bar code scanner
Physical demands:
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles
- Stacking goods in correct racking/storage bays
- Handling empty pallets
- Picking and packing onto pallets and cartons for courier collections
Working hours & Benefits:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
45-minute unpaid lunch break
2 x 15-minute tea breaks (am and pm)
