The Opportunity

I am excited to be recruiting for my client, a well-established law firm, as they expand into their new Cardiff office. This firm is renowned for placing clients at the centre of their practice, with a team of legal experts dedicated to simplifying even the most complex legal issues. Their focus is on delivering clear, practical advice that consistently achieves the best outcomes for their clients.

The firm's expertise spans a range of legal areas, including housing & property, family law, wills & probate, employment, and litigation. Additionally, they provide specialist commercial law services for businesses of all sizes. With over 400 staff working across 14 offices, my client offers the resources and expertise to handle both individual and corporate legal matters.

As part of their growing team, the Cardiff office is looking for legal professionals to manage a variety of residential property cases, including sales & purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, right to buy, shared ownership schemes, and lease extensions. The role will involve managing a caseload efficiently and cost-effectively, building relationships with clients, estate agents, and lenders, and ensuring a high standard of service delivery. Fee generation in line with business targets is also a key aspect of this role, alongside managing work quality and productivity with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate for this position will hold a relevant qualification (such as solicitor, CILEx, or CLC) or have strong experience in managing a conveyancing caseload. You should have a solid background in client case management and fee-earning within conveyancing, be process-driven, and possess a keen commercial understanding of business targets. A commitment to exceptional client care, strong organisational skills, and familiarity with web-based case management systems are essential.

In return for your hard work and dedication, my client offers a competitive benefits package, including:

  • Pension scheme
  • Health cash plan for workplace well being
  • Employee referral bonus
  • Up to 33 days of paid annual leave
  • Christmas holiday closure

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing office in Cardiff, where you can contribute to a firm that values both its clients and employees.
