Production Planner

This role involves the coordination of production workflow for one or multiple products, planning and prioritising operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay. The Production Planner will also be responsible for the execution of plans and schedules in a timely manner, ensuring the smooth running of the industrial and manufacturing process.

Description

  • Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products.
  • Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
  • Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
  • Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations.
  • Schedule shift according to production needs.
  • Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time.
  • Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
  • Prepare and submit status and performance reports.

Profile

A successful Production Planner should have:

  • Proven experience in production planning.
  • Profound knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
